This past weekend was Round 2 of Hot Import Nights for Texas. Last minute media credentials were given to me and I was on a mission. It was a very packed show with tons of giveaways and prizes for everyone. This year they added something that tingled my fancy even more on top of the cars and beautiful women. Sure Fire Vapor presented the HIN Vapers Village. I had to wander around and take a gander at everything and happened to stumble into a cloud competition. All in all, I had a great time and snapped a lot of pictures. Figured I'd look back just a few years ago for a throwback Thursday picture and I found this. It was from the DFW Exotic Rentals photoshoot in Addison. Tim Tran snapped this lovely pic of me shooting the superleggera before doing a couple of fun runs in Mexico. To see the picture I captured click on the automotive link. Had a wonderful time shooting with Miss Leah at these graffitied trains that just framed her rockin' look perfectly. If you would like to do a similar shoot or have a concept for something creative and fun just contact me and we will get something booked! The event was the final round for the Lone Star Drift series, but we really didn't go out for the event as much as we wanted to party and slay some tires. D1GP drivers Tsuyoshi Tezuka and Masashi Yokoi, hung out and ate some BBQ with us and then went around the track in JR's 240 and Drew's M3. This time last year we were just getting back from our amazing trip to Austin to celebrate Eight-6 day with the awesome people of Natsukashi Garage. Unfortunately this year nothing too special was planned. (thank god, still need to recover from last year) In memories of last year; here's a picture from the cruise home. When life gives you lemons... go get a beer, because unless you got sugar and water you aren't making lemonade. After our first location got crowded out, and we got kicked out of the second location, the third location was a charm! We had just enough time to catch the sunset and create some awesome photos!

Recently we cruised to the airport to go pick up our friend that got off deployment from the airport. I didn't have my camera, but I had my cell phone. I remembered the quote from Mr. Jarvis and snapped away. Even though I was just using my cellphone, I was super happy just to catch the moment. Maybe next time I'll remember my dslr.
